Our Story

I am an Occupational Therapist and the proud daughter of a woodworker. Finding meaning in what you do began our story. My Dad was diagnosed with peripheral neuropathy when I was in college. It was a scary time, especially for everyone in my family. Woodworking is just one of his many passions and talents. I can hear the bandsaw as I type and see the clouds of sawdust swarming the air. I can hear my Mom call out to my Dad as he often tracked the sawdust throughout the house on his shoes and on his clothes. Through the constant and draining pain in his legs, feet and sleepless nights, Dad has discovered how to be as independent as possible to pursue his beautiful art. He inspires me daily, overcoming his pain, to engage in his favored occupations. Even though he may find flaws in his art, my family and I showcase their beauty because, they truly are one of a kind. Mom, Grandma, Dakota, and I love you, Dad and are so very grateful for you!
